Privacy policy
Last updated 29 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Yatri Cloud collects through Nishaan and how it is used, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
What we collect
- Account details: names, email addresses, phone number and a securely hashed password for each user.
- Firm details: agency name, address, GSTIN, state, agent codes and letterhead details.
- Your work: portfolio marks, cases, notes, uploaded templates and generated reports.
- Billing: plan, payments and invoices. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment provider, Razorpay; we never see or store them.
- Technical data needed to run the service, such as sign-in times and error logs.
Public trademark data
Nishaan also holds information published by IP India, such as proprietor and attorney names and addresses in the Trade Marks Journal. It is shown as published, for trademark search and watch.
How we use it
- To provide the service: sign-in, journal matching, deadlines, reports and email alerts you switch on.
- For AI help you ask for: reading an examination report you upload, drafting reply arguments, suggesting classes and reviewing a match. Logos published in the Trade Marks Journal are also read by AI.
- To bill you and issue invoices.
- To send service messages such as trial and renewal reminders.
We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run Nishaan (hosting, email delivery, Razorpay for payments, and Anthropic, whose Claude AI answers the AI help requests), under confidentiality, and authorities when the law requires it. For AI help we send only what the request needs, such as the report you upload or the details of the marks on the form; Anthropic does not use it to train its models.
Storage and security
Data is stored on secured servers. Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted, and each agency's data is kept separate from every other agency's.
How long we keep it
While your account is open, and afterwards as long as needed for tax and legal records (invoices are kept for the period GST law requires). Ask us to delete your firm's data at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent for optional processing such as email alerts. In Settings, Account, an owner can download a copy of the firm's data as an Excel file, or delete the firm and all its data. For anything else, write to info@yatricloud.com; we reply within 30 days.
Grievance officer
For any complaint about how your personal data is handled, write to the grievance officer of Yatri Cloud at info@yatricloud.com, Gujarat, India. We acknowledge every complaint within one business day.
Cookies
We use only what is needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes
We will update this page when the policy changes and tell account owners about significant changes by email.
